Film reference in-game can be quite rare and uncommon most especially in a role-playing game like Bethesda's most recent title, "Fallout 4." However, one dedicated fan has accidentally stumbled on an item inside the game that contains a reference from the hit movie franchise "Alien" directed by Scott Ridley.

According to the report from GameSpot, Imgur user 1Times has recently posted the discovered film reference on "Fallout 4" on the image sharing platform.

The user has described the item to be a Flux Sensor and the "Alien" reference was actually quite hidden. It is in the form of a serial number on the item, which can be located at the back of it when the player turns it around.

"I turned it around and I found some random numbers (CM-88B 180924609) so I decided to do some research," 1Times wrote on the caption of the image. "Apparently the number is the registration number of a modified CM-88B (the other part on the flux sensor) Bison starfreighter."

Unfortunately, as exciting as it may sound, the discovered reference is just that, a nod to the classic horror movie. There are no connections whatsoever between the game and the film, even though the ship Bison starfreighter was destroyed more than 100 years prior to the beginning of the story of "Fallout 4."

Nevertheless, discovering hidden references and Easter eggs can still be quite rewarding for gamers as a bit of fun. "It feels really rewarding I actually found they are not random numbers," 1Times wrote in the comment section, "Encourages me to explore more."

Meanwhile, it seems like there are still more references hidden inside the game as "Gears of War" creator Cliff Bleszinski recently tweeted that there are still more numbers in-game waiting to be uncovered. "Hah, good friend of mine who worked on Fallout 4 posted this and said "...there are more numbers hidden in the game," Bleszinski wrote on his Twitter post.
