There's a new superhero role to be filled, and it will be taken by none other than Falcon, who has assumed title as the new Captain America. The creator of the comic talked to Marvel.com and shared his experience on writing the new character.

Falcon has long been hailed as a reputable character in the Captain America franchise, and this time, he will take helm on a major role as he is dressed as Captain America in the comic pages of the first ever edition of "All-New Captain America." The details of how Falcon will be promoted to the public as the new Captain America is yet to be revealed, but writer Rick Remender shared how he pictures the transition to Marvel.com.

"Historically, Falcon would often act as air support, flying Steve into the battle. Why not merge the two?" said Remender to Marvel.com, as reported by MTV.com.

"He pops the wings, and as he flies, he keeps the shield latched onto his back. He dives down onto the scene, hurls the shield, wings retract, and rolls into a kick or jump, catches the shield on the way back. He doesn't have the super soldier serum, but he has the added zing-zang-zoom of flight," added the comic book writer in the said post.

Falcon has appeared in previous Captain America movies such as "Captain America: Winter Soldier," played by actor Anthony Mackie. His character is expected to return for the next Captain America film, and an appearance in the upcoming 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is not such a long shot.
