Things will continue to heat up when "Fairy Tail" chapter 497 is released with Invel finally entering the picture.

Spoilers claim that the upcoming chapter of the manga series will feature Invel, also known as the Winter Wizard, joining the battle as the guild of Fairies advance to the battlefield. Reportedly, Invel has been watching the events all along from a nearby hill and will finally have himself involved in the battle.

It is said that Invel will enter the scene by jumping at the field and unleash his power. Natsu will then counter Invel by using his Dragon Fire power, and the scene becomes more action-packed as both Invel and Natsu try to prove their respective supremacy.

There are also claims saying that Invel will turn his attention to Romeo, who never gets the chance to escape Invel's powers as he becomes frozen almost immediately. Upon seeing what has happened to his son, Macao attempts to attack Invel and demands that he unfreezes him. However, with Invel threatening him that he can easily kill Romeo, Macao backpedals.

As Macao stands still, Gray takes the opportunity to attack Invel and uses his Ice Devil's Zeroth long sword. Invel attempts to fight it with his Ice Sword, which cracks against the weapon of Gray. Although he is surprised, Invel is still able to come up with a squid tactic that will spare him from the wrath of Gray: He tells him that it was actually Natsu who killed his father.

Upon hearing this, Gray turns to Natsu. However, even before he can attack Natsu, Invel freezes most of the guild by using his Ice God's Bellow power. As he walks away from the frozen bodies of the guilds, though, it turns out that Invel failed to freeze Natsu, who then uses his Flame Dragon's Iron Fist against him.

Meanwhile, other sources claim that the upcoming "Fairy Tail" chapter 497 will also feature a bout between Gildarts and the resurrected God Serena. However, it is said that the latter will be weaker but may be revealed as an immortal.

Exciting as the events mentioned earlier may be, fans must bear in mind though that they are nothing more than predictions and speculations. Some of them may come true, others may not. Things can only be confirmed once "Fairy Tail" chapter 497 is released.
