After an onset accident in March, lead actor Dylan O'Brien will go back to working on the film "Maze Runner: Death Cure" on May 15.

The information comes from co-actor Giancarlo Esposito who told E!, "He's healing very well. He got put together a couple of weeks ago," and added "He's one tough cookie."

Without going into details, Esposito said, "He got his bell rung. I would imagine many who witnessed thought that that was it … but he's a survivor." He also praised O'Brien by saying that one good thing about the actor is his great attitude.

Details about the mishap were not made public. However, there are unverified claims stating that an incident summary website describing injuries sustained by an unnamed patient refers to O'Brien. The report says the patient hit his head on the pavement and lost consciousness resulting to "concussion, facial fracture and lacerations."

O'Brien is working on two projects at the same time. Aside from "Maze Runner: Death Cure," he is also working on another season of "Teen Wolf" where he plays Stiles, the best friend of the lead character Scott, played by actor Tyler Posey. He has been in the show since its first season and has easily become one of the favorites in the series.

In an interview with E! Online, Posey described the accident as "stunt gone wrong." When asked to talk more about the accident, he refused saying he respects and loves his friend and added, "I don't know how much information he wants me to leak out." Posey shared he was worried, scared, "and racked up for a little while" when the accident occurred and that O'Brien is okay and is already at home.

With two projects waiting for him to be well and back on his feet, O'Brien has a busy year ahead of him. "Teen Wolf" season 6 is due to premiere before the year ends and the season is said to be a big one as well for O'Brien's character. Despite the temporary shutdown in production, "Maze Runner: Death Cure" is still scheduled to premiere in February 2017.
