Duck Dynasty Season 6 spoilers: Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal makes special guest appearance
A big highlight of Duck Dynasty Season 6 will be the appearance of Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, as a special guest during the premiere on June 11. His appearance will be penned in the storyline as a political one, as the Robertson family receives a Governor's Award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
A&E's "Duck Dynasty" reality series somehow presents something significant to many Americans, and many of American voters, which might be a big part of the reason why Gov. Jindal agreed to make an appearance.
Though he could not say much due to a confidentiality agreement, Jindal seems thrilled to join the Robertsons in filming, whom he said his family had fun hanging out with. Willie Robertson told News-Star it was neat to have Jindal on the show, and he apparently did great appearing natural because he is used to having cameras around.
There are speculations Jindal might consider a presidential run in 2016, and so being associated with the Robertsons of "Duck Dynasty" could be beneficial. The family is known to have already helped a politician gain office and have released an unofficial statement that Jindal is their presidential pick.
Duck Dynasty reached its peak late in 2013 with Season 4, reaching an average of over 9 million episode viewers. However, in an interview with GQ magazine, the company's founder Phil Robertson, commented on homosexuals, which sparked controversy and a brief suspension from the show. Nine days after the statements however, Phil was reinstated back onto the show following public pressure.
Duck Dynasty Season 6 premieres on June 11 9 p.m. ET/PT on A&E.
