'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' latest news: Team-up feature, Super Saiyan Rose to be included?

(Facebook/DBZ.videogames)"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will drop on Oct. 25.

The upcoming "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is going to offer a lot of features. Some of the franchise's fan base are already excited and they shouldn't have to wait any longer because the game is scheduled to arrive on Oct. 25.

When it drops, the title is expected to have a team-up feature that can consist of up to six members. This way, players can plan out their strategies and carry them out as a group, which will prove to be more effective on bigger NPC bosses. The game is said to have a larger capacity when it comes to population. It is also believed to be able to accommodate up to 300 players at a single time.

While the game has a lot of things to look forward to, many fans were disappointed when they learned that "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" would not feature old, classic characters. It was previously reported that the upcoming game will only see new characters with new powers. A lot of fans really wanted to see some old faces, so this revelation was not taken so kindly when it was announced.

However, producer Masayuki Hirano has explained why they opted to do away with the old characters in the new game. It is apparently quite difficult to incorporate the classic characters because of their differences with the new ones. The new characters can all fly, while the old ones have difficulty in moving around without help. Plus, their powers would not match up, so it will not be fair to have both in the game.

As for who will be appearing in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," Goku Black, Super Saiyan Vegeta, and Janemba are all expected. But a new rumor claims that Goku Black's Super Saiyan Rose form will also be seen in the new game. Even if the Super Saiyan Rose won't make it to the base game, there are talks that it may arrive on a DLC.

Since nothing is sure, fans should take this news with a grain of salt for now.
