A 31-second teaser has recently been released for episode 78 of the anime "Dragon Ball Super," giving away the highly-anticipated clash of the 12 universes called "The Tournament of Power," organized by the Omni-King.

According to the preview, The Tournament of Power will determine the strongest warriors in the universe. However, the much-awaited 78th episode will unveil the shocking rule that all universes, except that of the winning team, will be annihilated within seconds by the Omni-King.

The tournament was created due to Goku's persistent request that the Omni-King set a martial arts tournament, despite warnings from his friends. Putting the entire multiverse at risk, his appeal has been granted but with a terrible price.

Furthermore, the preview revealed that a match between Goku's universe and Universe 9 will take place in the upcoming episode, with a seat already reserved for Omni-King to punish whichever losing god by wiping out the latter's world. Upon learning the King of All's evil scheme, Goku will match the strength of his opponents by calling two more allies in the battlefield.

Gohan hesitates to join the tournament, while Vegeta has to be with Bulma who is about to give birth. Despite the need of the latter to skip the event, speculations suggest that Vegeta and Krillin would take part in The Tournament of Power, as previews that have been released for the Universe Survival Arc feature the three fighters dueling against enemies that have yet to be introduced.

Considering that opening themes of anime typically show scenes from the early stages of a series, fans believe the scenes that higlight Goku, Vegeta and Krillin indicate that the Universe 7 will win the episode's match.

Titled "The Gods of Each Universe are Aghast?! You'll be Obliterated if You Lose at The Tournament of Power,"the episode 78 of "Dragon Ball Super" is scheduled to air on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 9 a.m. Japan time on Fuji TV.
