The spotlight will be cast on Zamasu in the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53 as it is said that he will be the one to finish Black Goku, simply known as Black, after the evil version of Goku, allegedly, killed the original "Dragon Ball" hero. 

Reports claim that the upcoming episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will feature Goku, with Beerus and Whis in tow, heading to Universe 10 palace, where Zamasu resides. However, Goku's and Zamasu's meeting won't be a pleasant one, initially, as it is said that the two will engage in a fight after Goku challenges the powers and abilities of Zamasu.

It is reported that based on the teaser for the upcoming "Dragon Ball Super" episode 53, Zamasu easily deals with the attacks of Goku, almost effortlessly, in fact.

However, despite the less than cordial first part of their meeting, it seems that Zamasu will prove to Goku that he is no foe, after all. Spoilers claim that in the bout between Goku and Black, the latter will eventually kill the former, and it will be Zamasu who will bring Goku back to life. Allegedly, after reviving Goku, Zamasu will finish Black.

Earlier, it was rumored that it would be Gohan who will finish Black after he is presented with the havoc that the evil version of Goku has created. Allegedly, this causes Gohan to free himself from his self-imposed restraint not to kill. However, with the new speculations that it will be Zamasu who will actually finish Black, fans can only wonder which is which and will just have to wait for the upcoming episode for things to be confirmed.

However, whatever the truth is, it seems that Black will not really meet his demise in the hands of Goku himself. After all, based on episode 50 of "Dragon Ball Super," Goku has a hard time taking down his evil version.
