'Dragon Ball Super' episode 51 spoilers; Future Trunks may save adult Mai from Black Goku

The battle between Son Goku and his sadistic doppelganger Black Goku will surely intensify in episode 51 of "Dragon Ball Super" dubbed as "Feeling That Transcend Time: Trunks and Mai." The forthcoming episode might give Future Trunks a window of opportunity to finally save the adult Mai in their ravaged world courtesy of Black Goku.
As the preview suggests, it seems that Future Trunks will be battling it out against Black Goku. There are also speculations that Son Goku will also be able to travel to the future and face yet again the godlike sadist. However, some suggest that Son Goku will be fatally wounded on his second bout with his evil clone. Moreover, fans speculate that it's either the earring or the time ring that Black Goku is wearing that will be his Achilles heel.
Episode 50 was filled with intense fighting as the lookalikes finally met and checked on each other's strength. Son Goku did not waste time and immediately transformed into a Super Saiyan before exchanging punches with Black Goku. As the two faced off, Bulma and Krillin noticed a black hole forming over the horizon. While in the middle of the fight, it seems that a part of Black Goku is gradually being sucked into the black hole and before Son Goku punched him towards it, he saw the time machine that the Future Trunks used and destroyed it with his energy beam. Hence, Future Trunks felt disappointed and at the same time worried that he may no longer be able to return to his own time.
Fans would recall on previous episodes that before Future Trunks left their timeline, he and his love interest Mai were attacked by Black Goku, leaving Mai seriously wounded and unable to time travel with Future Trunks.
Meanwhile, Bulma remembered that she kept a capsule containing an old beat up time machine and showed it to the rest of them. With this development, the Z Warriors still have hope in going to the future and facing off yet again with Black Goku.
"Dragon Ball Super" episode 51 will air on July 10 on Fuji TV.
