The first ever major of the popular Multiplayer Online Battle Arena game from Valve, "Dota 2," has ended with Team OG taking home the grand prize against the famous and crowd favorite Team Secret. 

According to the detailed report by SB Nation, Team OG's win over Team Secret was shocking and surprising.

Team OG is made up of team captain Fly on the fifth position, two core players BigDaddy NoTail and the famous pubstomper Miracle- on switching positions 1 and 2, MoonMeAndHer on the offlane/rotating position 3, and Cr1t- on support position 4. 

As for the Team Secret, the crowd favorite is being led by genius team captain Puppey on position 4, followed by EternaLEnVy and the other famous pubstomper-turned-professional player W33ha (also referred to as W33) on positions 1 and 2 switching, MiSeRy on position 3, and pieliedie on the full-time support position 5. 

The ending result of the match was an amazing 3-1 in favor of Team OG but that is not the surprising part of their achievement. According to the blog post from Dota 2, Team OG's feat during the Frankfurt Majors 2015 was totally unexpected, most especially because they have climbed their way from the lower bracket to the grand finals. 

The team actually started at the lower bracket after losing a slot for the upper bracket during the group stage on the Group B section. OG, on their way to the top, had to face many powerful and veteran teams like the European Fnatic, the SEA Philippine team Mineski, the Russian team Virtus.Pro, the Chinese teams CDEC Gaming and EHOME, and lastly, the recent The International 2015 champion USA team Evil Geniuses in the lower bracket finals.

Team OG's perseverance to win the first ever "Dota 2 – Frankfurt Majors 2015" is no doubt surprising and quite unexpected. The team's total winning prize for the first major is $1,100,000 with Team Secret in second place with $405,000.
