'Dota 2' news: Learn more about the significant UI changes included in Update 7.00

(Dota 2 official website)A look at the redesigned user interface featured in 'Dota 2'

The new hero and Talent Trees may be the biggest additions included in "Dota 2's" Update 7.00, but those are far from the only notable tweaks.

As soon as players are able to get their hands on the game with the new update applied, they will also find that the user interface has been overhauled quite significantly.

Striving to give players a more convenient experience inside the game appears to have been the driving force behind some of these user interface changes.

For example, the minimap has been changed so that players may be able to refer to it to find different things faster and they will even be able to adjust its size.

The Settings Menu has also been tweaked, giving players opportunities to apply changes to controls and other things on the fly.

The shops inside "Dota 2" have also been changed via Update 7.00.

Shops will now display items in a way that players will immediately recognize which ones are better suited for the particular hero they are currently using. It will also become easier now for players to purchase the more commonly-used items via the quick-access selection.

Last but not least, the hero interface also features some notable changes.

A new One-Click Level Up mechanic will allow players to allot their skill points even faster than before, without the need to divert their attention from the field of play just to fiddle around with the keyboard in search of the right button to press.

Customized hero interfaces will also appear for certain characters, and these will serve to better reflect how the hero is being used.

With this new user interface featured, players should find that they will be able to see more of the in-game map, according to the game's official website.

More news about the other changes coming to "Dota 2" should be made available in the near future.
