"Die Hard 6" News: Former cast members and Die Hard fans chime in on the plot of the upcoming movie

The certified blockbuster franchise, Die Hard, first premiered almost thirty years ago in 1988 and since then John McClane has been as iconic as the series itself. "Die Hard" has since spawned five movies with the latest instalment, "A Good Day to Die Hard," premiering in 2013. And it seems like the adventures of McClane are not even close to being over as according to several reports, development for "Die Hard 6" is already in full swing.
Details surrounding the plot of the upcoming film have been scarce, however some former cast members have since chimed in on what is to become of the franchise.
Reginald VelJohnson, who played Sgt. Al Powell, jokingly quipped that the sixth movie should be well beyond unique since at this point McClane has fought off every kind of terrorist attack imaginable.
"How many times can this guy get into trouble and then get out of it on his own? So it would have to be something unique. Maybe you could have John McClane fighting zombies. That could work," quipped VelJohnson as reported by Cinema Blend.
Elsewhere, a fan seemed to have pitched in what "Die Hard 6" should be about. According to a report by the Hollywod Reporter as reported by Inquisitr, there is a mega fan of the Die hard franchise that decided to make his own ad and described what Die Hard 6 should be like. Instead of the original plan of a prequel the producers wanted to make, Bruce Willis' John McClane will embody the John McClane of the present day. In the fan's version, McClane will be wrongfully charged with the murder of a sex trafficker.
Speculations about what story the upcoming "Die Hard 6" will follow remain nothing but rumors at the moment. However, Bruce Willis is reportedly happy that someone had the guts to pitch in and give his own idea for the movie.
