It has been a while since the latest installment was released, so fans are getting excited for a possible announcement of "Diablo 4" in BlizzCon 2016. However, there are rumors suggesting otherwise.

Blizzard Entertainment's conference is commencing soon and fans are hoping that they will finally get news about "Diablo 4." According to Vine Report, there are several hints that point to its announcement.

One clue that is fueling the rumors is a dice. A YouTuber uploaded a video showing the content of his BlizzCon goodie bag. Among the items in the bag is a Diablo-themed sack that contains a lot of die and one that struck the interest of fans is the four-sided dice.

According to YouTube user Rhykker, it is called a D4, which might correspond to "Diablo 4." Another interesting detail about it is the numbers on it, which can be read as 1-1-4. That is exactly the date of this year's Blizzard event.

Corroborating this speculation is a comment from "Diablo's" official Twitter account, iTech Post reported. One user mentioned the account in a tweet about hoping for a "Diablo" announcement at BlizzCon, to which they replied,

"BlizzCon will be really cool this year."

The statement did not really confirm anything, but adding to it another comment from a former Blizzard employee makes it seem like a huge announcement about the franchise is indeed brewing for the event.

It can be remembered that the employee previously revealed that fans of the series will "lose their s***" at this year's event, Segment Next reported. He was fired after that but it is unknown if his statement was the cause.

The BlizzCon 2016 is a two-day event starting on Nov. 4. Fans will have to wait and see if "Diablo 4" will make an appearance, but there are other possibilities for the event such as a mobile game or a remaster announcement.
