'Devious Maids' season 5 spoilers: Genevieve and Zoila struggle with truce

Genevieve (Susan Lucci) and Zoila's (Judy Reyes) truce to stay out of each other's business will not last long in the next installment of "Devious Maids."
Although Lifetime has yet to announce whether the series will be renewed for season 5, fans of the show are positive that it will. There are still a lot of loose ends to tie up after the last installment ended with a bombshell. Marisol (Ana Ortiz) was kidnapped just before her wedding to Peter (James Denton) and viewers are eager to find out the identity of the culprit.
Zoila is back in Genevieve's employ, but their relationship is as strained as before.
Executive producer Sabrina Wind recently told TV Line that the two women will struggle with their promise to not be involved in each other's personal lives.
"I love the idea of Genevieve and Zoila being back in each other's lives, but promising each other not to get involved in their business. Now we're seeing Genevieve doing something as crazy as we've ever seen, so Zoila will have quite the trouble of not meddling and getting involved. ... We also just really liked the idea of Genevieve thinking, 'Maybe all this time, what I needed was a wife!'" the EP shared.
Wind said Zoila would have more difficulty keeping her thoughts to her herself, especially after seeing her former friend making the biggest mistake of her life. Genevieve decided last season that she wanted to try having a relationship with another woman (played by Sharon Lawrence). She must have thought it would be better than frequently getting her heart broken by a man. Zoila has known Genevieve for a while and this is something totally out of character for the socialite. Will she be able to knock some sense into her?
Meanwhile, Wind told Entertainment Weekly they remain optimistic that Lifetime will give the green light for the series soon. According to her, they have been receiving excellent feedback about the show's performance.
