New weapons are among the most notable additions coming via "Destiny's" "Rise of Iron" expansion, and more details about these implements of destruction have finally been revealed.

New Vanguard weapons, as well as ones for the Crucible and the Trials of Osiris, are coming and there will be many of them.

Images of the new weapons were revealed recently by Activision.

Starting off with the Vanguard weapons, players will soon be given the opportunity to get their hands on the Each New Day, a new fusion rifle that will be made available via the Vanguard or the Crucible Quartermaster.

The new First Citizen IX heavy machine gun and the Occam's Razor shotgun will also be released, and they can be obtained using Legendary Engrams, Gear Nuke reported.

Moving on now to the Trials of Osiris weapons, only one has been previewed thus far, with that being the Burning Eye scout rifle.

Next up are the Crucible weapons and at least six of these will be coming to "Destiny" via the "Rise of Iron" expansion.

Players will soon be able to wield the But Not Forgotten, Saladin's Vigil, the Lingering Song, the Titanium Orchid, the Unbent Tree and Winter's End.

Lastly, there are Exotics for players to get excited about as well.

Many fans likely already know about the Iron Gjallarhorn – a weapon currently being offered as a pre-order bonus, per the game's official website – but there are other Exotics that they may want to know as well.

For instance, the Khvostov 7G-0X may seem like just an unremarkable auto-rifle, though it is apparently the most customizable firearm that will be offered in the game.

Players who want to wield a potentially more destructive weapon can also go for the new Exotic heavy machine gun known as the Nemesis Star.

Last up, a new Exotic sidearm known as the Trespasser will also be included in the "Rise of Iron" expansion.

The aforementioned weapons and the other contents of the "Rise of Iron" expansion will be made available to "Destiny" players starting Sept. 20.
