'Dark Souls' Mobile Version 'Slashy Souls' Released for iOs and Android Devices

"Dark Souls" fans can enjoy a different version of the game as publisher Bandai Namco partnered with GameStop to bring into existence a free-to-play mobile game titled "Slashy Souls." According to a report by GameSpot, the game is now out and exclusively available for download for all iOS and Android devices.
For those who are not aware yet, "Slashy Souls" is a spin-off inspired by the upcoming "Dark Souls III" video game that is slated to release in April. However, it will not have any direct connection to the series, although one of its themes is a focus on challenging gameplay. A trailer of the game has been released to give interested gamers a glimpse of what the game will bring. It shows the gamer playing as a knight constantly running to avoid death.
Polygon also detailed that the gameplay follows through the lens of 16-bit graphics and endless runner genre. There will be weapons, spells, and bosses that gamers will encounter throughout the gameplay. And as noted in the game's description in the App Store, it says, "Defeat Monsters, drink potions, and die on your own time in Slashy Souls." It also wrote, "Wreak havoc on monstrous bosses of otherworldly horrors. Travel further than any other as you try desperately to cling to life. Challenge death to a battle of will and then claim your everlasting victory!"
Digital Trends also detailed that in each gameplay session, there will be bottomless pits and dangerous terrains that players must jump to in order to survive. And if they will encounter enemies, players must know how to time their sword swings and counterattacks while evading incoming threats.
Other features that will be included in the game are gorgeous gothic graphics, magical power-ups, various achievements, leaderboards, time management skills, and endless gameplay.
"Dark Souls III" will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
