'Dance Moms' season 6 spoilers: Maddie Ziegler's departure to be full of drama

Maddie Ziegler has already announced her departure from the Abby Lee Miller Dance Company (ALDC) but the latest synopsis reveals that she might not be able to leave quietly.
The synopsis for the next episode of "Dance Moms" reveals that Miller has asked Ziegler to "pass the torch" to newcomer Brynn Rumfallo. With all the moms already emotionally involved about the issue, the announcement might not sit well with some of them and puts the 49-year old dance instructor in an unlikely situation.
It is common knowledge that some of the mothers believe that Kendall Vertes should be the next principal dancer of the company. However, it seems like Miller wants Rumfallo to take Ziegler's place.
In the next episode, Miller will give Rumfallo a dance routine inspired by Ziegler's old routine, which she will use in her face-off against Ziegler herself in the upcoming weekly competition.
Jessalyn Siwa, Jojo's mom, spoke up against what was happening in the dance company, saying that Rumfallo was encouraged to dress like Siwa's daughter in the previous episode, while in the next episode, she is being encouraged to dance like Ziegler.
"You can't make something out of nothing," Siwa adds.
Ashlee Terry Rumfallo, Brynn's mom, fights back by saying that the other moms are just jealous of her daughter. She even went so far as to say that her daughter has what it takes to become much better than Ziegler.
Among the moms, it's Holly Frazier, Nia's mom, who seems to be the only one who has managed to be level-headed about the issue. She advised her fellow mothers that they "have to do a better job" as mothers or they will be giving their daughters a disservice, which is not healthy for the team.
"Dance Moms" episode 17 is entitled "Mini Madness" and airs every Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
