'Criminal Minds' season 12 episode 7 news and updates: Total stranger claims to be Dr. Lewis' brother; is Mr. Scratch behind this?

Peter Lewis did what scores of other people couldn't — he was able to force Aaron Hotchner out of the BAU. But will the twisted, mind-controlling serial killer push another agent out?
"Criminal Minds" finally wrapped up Hotchner's (Thomas Gibson) journey with the BAU in the previous episode as Rossi (Joe Mantegna) revealed to the team that Hotch had resigned and he and his son, Jack (Cade Owens), were in the FBI's Witness Protection program.
Hotch apparently made the decision when Lewis, aka Mr. Scratch (Bodhi Elfman), was seen at Jack's football game and at his school. Being in the Witness Protection program meant that the team will never be able to see or hear from Hotch again. It was a bitter pill to swallow, but one that was tempered by the thought that father and son are together and safe. Hotch had also requested that Prentiss (Paget Brewster) be given his post, a job that she later agreed to take.
It might not be the ideal way to wrap up the storyline of one of "Criminal Minds'" most-beloved and enduring characters, but it's one that made sense. Hotch is known for his dedication and focus, and there's very little that would faze him. Jack is the one person that he would sacrifice everything for. As Rossi explained, Hotch won't put his son in danger again, especially after what happened to his wife, Haley.
Now, the BAU has to move forward. Luckily, the team remains strong and will hopefully find a way to bring down Mr. Scratch.
They might find their chance sooner than they expected, as episode 7 will find the team investigating a man who claims to be Dr. Lewis' (Aisha Tyler) brother. With Lewis unable to contact her real brother, the BAU scrambles to unravel how the stranger seems to know everything about the profiler and her family.
A teaser for the upcoming episode, "Mirror Image," starts with Lewis meeting her so-called "brother" in a restaurant. He's later seen being interrogated by JJ (A.J. Cook), while Lewis admits to Prentiss that whoever that guy is, "he's good." Strangely enough, not only does the man seem to know everything about Lewis and her family, he also seems to really believe he's her brother.
Someone has obviously taken great pains to mess with Lewis' head, and Mr. Scratch laughing maniacally at the end of the clip could be a portent of things to come.
Episode 7 of "Criminal Minds" season 12 is set to air on CBS on Nov. 30 at 9 p.m.
