In "Criminal Minds" season 12 episode 15, titled "Alpha Male," the youngest member of FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit will be learning to adjust to life behind bars. To note, the profiler has been sent to jail because he has been accused of killing a Mexican doctor and smuggling drugs to the border. Reid's latest challenge will be more difficult than any case he has worked on. But luckily for him, he will not be the only FBI agent in prison.

Reid will be acquainted with a former agent named Calvin Shaw, who is serving time for killing one of his informants. The latest addition to the series will be portrayed by "Lost" alum Harold Perrineau. Little is known about the character, but he is expected to confront Reid. But based on his questionable past, Reid and his team will not be too eager to trust the man.

While Reid faces the throngs of inmates, the BAU will be focused on a case, which involves an attacker or a group of attackers who like to disfigure their victims' faces with acid. Multiple men and women have fallen prey to this sick act, and it is up to BAU to catch the assailant before he strikes again. The episodes to come will continue Reid's storyline. Meanwhile, his mother Diana (Jane Lynch) will be reappearing on the show in episode 20.

Guest star Perrineau has starred in a number of TV shows. Aside from portraying Michael Dawson on "Lost," he has played Augustus Hill on "Oz" and Damon Pope on "Sons of Anarchy."

"Criminal Minds" season 12 episode 15, titled "Alpha Male," airs tonight, March 1, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
