'Chicago Fire' season 4 news: Vampire Diaries' Steven R. McQueen is show's newest cast member

It is a "The Vampire Diaries" reunion as actor, Steven R. McQueen, joins the cast of "Chicago Fire" in a recurring role. McQueen is known for playing Elena's younger brother Jeremy on the hit vampire show.
The news comes from TVLine and "Chicago Fire" executive producer, Danielle Gelber's, tweet in which she shared a picture of herself alongside the former vampire hunter. Gelber wrote "Newest addition to #ChicagoFire. Welcome to the family! @McQueeninchains #season4."
McQueen will play the role of Jimmy Borelli. He is a new candidate who joins Firehouse 51. Borelli makes a dramatic entrance on his first day on the job and this puts him at odds with Chief Boden.
