The airing of the upcoming episode 17, titled "What Happened to Courtney," of the fourth season of "Chicago Fire" has been delayed twice. The show will pretty much not release any new episodes for almost the entire month of March. Episode 17 is slated to air on March 29.

According to Cartermatt, it is possible that the hiatus was made in order for the network to fill the homestretch of the season while giving a little room before "The Voice" returns on the air. While waiting though, NBC also did not release any official synopsis for the upcoming episode.

Meanwhile, here is what went down in the last episode, titled "Two T's."

Alderman Becks got a one percent vote after Casey decided to withdraw from the race. Casey, however, got a smear campaign from the funder whom he declined. The smear campaign exposed Casey's mother who killed her husband. Then, after asking some help for damage control, another one of his secrets were revealed—that he used to work at a strip club.

Casey thought of dropping out but Dawson expressed her belief towards Casey. Dawson also accused Stella Kidd of sleeping with her husband, which happened to be untrue. Then, it was revealed that Severide used to like Kidd, only to be discovered by the latter's husband.

Across town, Jimmy and Brett were the first ones to respond to a car accident involving a man and his son. It was later revealed that the man kidnapped his son from his drug addict ex-wife, but the son decided to return to his mother who could not even raise him.

Casey, on the other hand, made a deal with the devil. He agreed to remove some police cameras in exchange for removing drug pusher within two block of the nearby high school.

Mouch was surprised by his fiancé with what he thought was the best bachelor party ever.

"Chicago Fire" returns on air before March ends on NBC.
