ABC's crime series "Castle" is laced with comedy and abundant romance, thanks to the chemistry between lead actors Stana Katic (Kate Beckett) and Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion). Episode 12 titled "Private Eye Caramba!" saw Kate and Rick working in tandem to solve the murder of a young telenovela actress, with Rick being hired as a private detective.

Episode 13 holds promise of more to come for the private eye and Beckett as Rick witnesses a murder. CarterMatt reports that in "I, Witness" Rick is hired for his services as a private eye by a woman to investigate her husband whom she suspects of cheating. However, things take a turn for the worse as he witnesses her husband murdering her. The problem is Castle has no way to prove it, especially with the lack of evidence.

Hollywood Hills reports that Castle and Beckett need to work together in order to expose the truth and put her husband behind bars. Viewers may be excited to see how Castle gathers evidence and whether he'll conjure another crazy theory, as he always does in every case. Additionally, Castle buffs will also get a sense of how his new career as a private investigator is heading after the end of episode 13. Annie Wersching, portraying Dr. Kelly Nieman, may make an appearance in future episodes. Additionally, several rumors surfacing online are speculating that the 3XK storyline might be revisited in season seven.

Viewers are also hoping to see more Castle-Beckett love scenes in the upcoming episodes. The duo's sizzling chemistry is one of reasons of the show's success. The series, directed by Tom Wright, skillfully incorporates crime, drama, romance and comedy with ease.

Written by Terence Paul Winter and Amanda John, episode 13 of season seven will air on ABC on Monday night, on Feb. 2, 2015 at 9pm central time.
