Although Terry (Terry Crews) sure is Captain Holt's (Andre Braugher) main man when it comes to fieldwork, he also has had his share of busted cases. While working in his old precinct, there was an instance when an investigation was left unresolved, perhaps due to lack of evidence. In the upcoming episode of the FOX series "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," Terry will get the chance to take a fresh look at the old case, this time with Jake (Andy Samberg) at his side.

In "Terry Kitties," TV Guide reports that the Terry will get his chance to redeem himself in the eyes of his old colleagues by closing a case that has befuddled them all. With Jake as his partner, the detective better known in the old days as "The Ebony Falcon" will make sure that no stone will be left unturned in this new probe. In the 99^th precinct, his success rate is just a tad more famous than his love for yogurt. In the past, he was frequently called by Jake and the gang to bust them out of tight situations.

Terry has proven himself to be a valuable member of the squad, although it now becomes clear that he still has reservations about his skills. The fiasco from his past is still weighing on his mind. To help his buddy close that particularly painful chapter in his life, Jake will do his best to assist Terry with the investigation. Will he do a good job? Terry will most likely use his powerful arms to squeeze the life out of him if he will not.

In a recent interview with Collider, Crews thanked the fans for supporting the series. He said that as long as the show is getting a lot of love, he would be more than happy to play his character for a long time.

"I am loving it, I'm telling you third season's the charm. ... It's been an amazing day, the fandom that's been worldwide. They're loving it, they're attached to it. ... What can I say? I wanna be with this thing for years, and years and years," the actor quipped.

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 episode 19 airs Tuesday, March 15, at 9 p.m. EST on FOX.
