'Bones' season 10 spoilers: ex-con's death leads team to a local bakery store in episode 13 'The Baker In The Bits'

"Bones" is bound to get more exciting each episode as the show is inching towards its season 10 finale. This week's episode promises viewers crime and drama that is typically associated with Booth and Brennan.
The Jeffersonian team finds the body of an ex-con in pieces, according to TVGuide's official episode synopsis. This leads them to investigate a local bakery known for employing former felons. However, it is learnt that the victim was involved in a robbery that went south so the team starts looking for suspects from the deceased's past.
But the investigation isn't the only aspect of the plot that has ample drama. Squintern Arastoo Vazirir must make a decision regarding his journey to Iran in order to meet his dying brother and this causes considerable friction between him and Cam.
Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan continue to experience some strain in their marriage. Booth relapsed into his old ways of gambling when a case involving a poker player acted as a trigger. Brennan finds out about his relapse and confronts Booth before he can tell her about it. Actress Emily Deschanel, who essays the role of a now heavily pregnant Brennan told TVLine that, after he denies that he has a problem, "he works on himself and tries to get help. We'll see how they do towards the end of the season!" Whether or not Booth can come out of his gambling addiction remains to be seen and provides much fodder for suspense till the season's finale.
Will the two patch things up? Executive producer Stephen Nathan told TVGuide that fans should expect the pregnancy and gambling to weigh heavily on their relationship. He said, "We see Booth and Brennan going through a torturous situation for their relationship. The relapse has very far-reaching effects. It weighs on both of them, and affects their marriage in a very fundamental way. Things will happen that we never thought could happen to Booth and Brennan."
Will the two emerge strong or crumble to bits? Watch "Bones" on Thursday, April 9 at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
