There are only three more days until the two-hour crossover episode between "Bones" and "Sleepy Hollow" airs.

The two shows, who operate on different universes, are set to collide after Brennan and her team discover the skeletal remains of British General Howe. In the first hour, "Bones" will air the episode titled "The Resurrection in the Remains." Ichabod Crane and Abbie travel to Washington D.C. to retrieve the 200-year-old skeleton in order to solve a mystery of their own.

It will then be followed by the "Sleepy Hollow" episode titled "Dead Men Tell No Tales." After the events in "Bones," Booth and Brennan have difficulty acknowledging the supernatural and are prompted to travel to Sleepy Hollow, New York to look for some more answers.

In the two-hour crossover event, Brennan, Booth, Ichabod Crane and Abbie must all work together in order to solve their respective cases.

In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, the executive producers of both shows, Jonathan Collier ("Bones") and Clifton Campbell ("Sleepy Hollow"), talked about their experiences while working on the the crossover episode. The main challenge was discovering how to reconcile two different philosophies that each show espoused.

While "Sleepy Hollow" operates in the supernatural realm, "Bones" is heavily based in science.

"It was exciting and fun for us. 'Sleepy Hollow' has a different look and shoots in a different way than 'Bones.' They integrated so well," said Collier.

The experience was also quite fun for all the cast and crew members.

"We shot both parts of the crossover in Los Angeles. 'Sleepy Hollow' usually shoots in Atlanta, but the 'Bones' cast and crew were ideal hosts. We felt comfortable and we all felt welcome," said Campbell.

Collier guarantees that viewers will have a fun and entertaining time watching the crossover episode. "It's an adventure that we normally wouldn't get to see these characters take," he said. Thematically, it also tells an apt storyline just as Halloween draws near.

Be sure to tune in for the "Bones/Sleepy Hollow" crossover episode airing on Thursday, Oct. 29 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET on Fox.
