Bobbi Kristina Brown update: Cissy Houston leaves her granddaughter's fate to God while Chaka Khan expresses disappointment in Kristina
Bobbi Kristina Brown is battling for her life at DeKalb Medical facility in Atlanta while her grandmother, Cissy Houston, prays for her recovery. The Gospel Herald reports that Grandma Cissy said there is still not a great deal of hope, but she is praying for a miracle. Her condition has remained unchanged.
In an interview at a New York radio station, the mother of singer Whitney Houston said she is praying and has left the fate of her granddaughter in God's hands. She reportedly told listeners of the radio station that if God gives her granddaughter a miracle, she is grateful, else, she is ready to face any outcome.
Meanwhile Daily Record reported that Chaka Khan, a close friend of the Houston's, expressed her disappointment in Bobbi Kristina Brown allegedly doing drugs. A recent police report supposedly alleges that Whitney Houston's daughter was on cocaine, heroin and Xanax in the months prior to the tragic incident.
22-year-old Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face down in a bathtub at her Georgia home on Jan. 31, a situation eerily similar to what her mother was in three years ago. While Whitney died and the cause was pinned as accidental drowning, Bobbi Kristina is still fighting for her life. She has been in a medically induced coma ever since responders brought her to Emory University hospital. Doctors attempted to remove her from a medically-induced coma, only to find her suffering from violent seizures, leading to putting her back on drugs. She is on life support and recuperating at a rehabilitation center.
Bobbi Kristian Brown's case is being treated as a criminal investigation since bruises were found on her back along with other suspicious markings. Her brain suffered from oxygen deprivation from anywhere between two to fifteen minutes.
Her family and friends are by her side, praying and hoping for a miracle.
