After a cliffhanger fall finale episode of "Blindspot," fans are eager to know what's next, now that Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) has discovered through a video that everything that happened to her was a result of her doing in the past and that she's also responsible for her memory loss.

Despite what Jane saw in the video, there is still doubt if the content is reliable. When Entertainment Weekly asked show executive producer Martin Gero if the video can be trusted, he answered, "You never know. I think she's going to trust it."

Gero has remained mum about the story behind the video, but speculations suggest that the past Jane could have been threatened to produce that footage or she volunteered to do it. In the video, Jane was seen telling her future self that seeing the video meant that everything she's planned is falling into place. The person who showed her the video was the guy with the tree tattoo in her dreams revealed to be Oscar (Francois Arnaud). He will be the one to answer more questions in the future.

In the winter finale, Jane had a moment with Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) when she kissed him. However, now that Oscar, who's her ex-boyfriend, has resurfaced, what happens to Jane and Weller?

According to Gero, the change that is to come between Weller and Jane will be one of the heartbreaking moments in the series. Jane has found a "solid ground for the first time," according to Gero, pertaining to Jane's relationship with Weller and the FBI team. "Then Oscar shows up and the floor falls out from underneath her," the executive producer described.

Meanwhile, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) might be on the hot seat when the show returns this month. After her boyfriend David (Joe Dinicol) was murdered, Patterson then becomes one of the suspects.

Gero hinted in a separate EW report that Chief Inspector Fischer (John Hodgman) will conduct an investigation on David's death and he will be grilling Patterson with questions.

"Blindspot" returns with the second half of season 1 this Monday, Feb. 29, at 10 p.m. EST on NBC.
