'Big Hero 7' release date, plot rumors: Tadashi returns as Sunfire; 'X-Men' crossover possible?

Fans are still waiting for official news regarding "Big Hero 6's" sequel, unofficially dubbed as "Big Hero 7."
According to various rumors, the movie is already in production. They also say that Hiro, Baymax and the rest of the superheroes will be back in action by next year or in 2019. Of course, these reports have not been confirmed so fans should just take this piece of information with a grain of salt and wait for an official announcement from Disney.
In the meantime, the animated film continues to be surrounded by theories and speculations regarding its plot. It is said that "Big Hero 7" will feature a twist to Tadashi's death.
In the original movie, Hiro's brother, Tadashi, died in an explosion. But various unconfirmed reports suggest that Tadashi might well be alive. Since a body was never found, some people believe that Tadashi is still out there. However, his return might not be that of great news to Hiro because it is said that his big brother will come back as a villain.
Rumors also have it that Tadashi will take on his alter-ego named Sunfire. He may be a villain at first, but later on in the story, he will reportedly come to his senses and realize he's fighting his little brother. Eventually, he'll join the superhero team.
This particular rumored plot has been circulating for some time now, but what's more interesting to note is another rumor pointing to a "Big Hero 6" crossover with "X-Men." In the comics, Sunfire was recruited by Professor X to become part of the X-Men.
Still, it's important to remember that these plot theories are based on fan speculations.
Fans will just have to wait for a confirmation on when the movie will hit theaters. It might be a long wait before Hiro and the gang returns, but more updates should be dropped anytime soon.
