Samsung Galaxy S7 cases, accessories from battery packs to lens covers

With the Samsung Galaxy S7 lineup releasing last week, a day before MWC 2016 kicked off, the device has since become the focus of attention. Now, with the smartphone due to arrive in stores on March 11, and already available for preorder, a number of accessories for it have started popping up and best are rounded up below.

Cases

With Samsung using a metal and glass build on the Galaxy S7, users need to get the right cases to ensure it is not damaged. One of the best available is the LED View Cover which is an official accessory from Samsung. It allows notifications to be seen and phone calls to be answered through the cover.

With the Clear View Cover, users get a limited amount of protection for their smartphone but they can see the clock through it and carry out a number of actions by swiping on the case. However, for those who want more protection, Urban Armor Gear has announced a series of rugged cases which have the Composite brand, and these are priced at $34.95 each. As for the Trooper series from the same company, they can also be used to store credit cards.

Battery Packs

When it comes to juice packs, the version from Mophie is one of the best as it can be charged wirelessly and extends the battery life of the Galaxy S7 by about 11 hours. Also, both the case and the phone can be charged with a large number of wireless chargers it is compatible with. Samsung has also created a battery pack for the Galaxy S7 and named it the Backpack. This particular version adds on a 3,400mAh battery, which, along with the Galaxy S7's battery, comes up to 7,000 mAh, and it can also be wirelessly charged. Additionally, when charging, the phone is charged first and then the Backpack starts charting.

Keyboard and Lens Cover

The Keyboard Cover, which was first introduced last year, has been brought by Samsung to the S7 lineup and users can employ it to get their typing done faster. For those who want to take better photographs with their Galaxy S7, Samsung announced a Lens Cover on its website, and it has a Telephoto lens and Wide Angle lens built in.
