Sam (Daniella Monet) may return to confuse Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau) in the upcoming season of "Baby Daddy." The couple may have officially broken up, but there is still a chance that they will end up together, even if Ben is already involved with another woman.

Last installment saw Sam and Ben calling it quits and hints of a future relationship for the single father. Ben only met Elle (Katie Gill) briefly, but the scene suggests huge things happening for the new pair.

However, showrunner Dan Berendsen teased to TV Line that Elle would return in season 6 to make Ben believe in love once again. After what happened to him, Ben has had moments on which he questions if there really is someone out there for him. His split with Sam affected him far more than he cared to admit. According to the EP, Sam may return, but Ben may not want to take her back. As of now, his priority is Emma (Kayleigh Harris).

"There's a chance she could be back, but I also like the idea that Ben is really growing up. No matter how nice and beautiful a girl may be, his first priority is always Emma now. Once he heard those words, there was nothing he could do about it. He can't be with a woman who's going to think of Emma as an afterthought," Berendsen said.

Meanwhile, Danny (Derek Theler) is reeling from Riley's (Chelsea Kane) big news. She told him during the last finale that she was pregnant with his child. Berendsen said that though Danny would freak out at first, he would soon get hold of his emotions and assure Riley that he is there for her. He may not look like it, but Danny is going to be a great dad. The EP said he takes his responsibilities seriously. Riley will not have to worry about anything at all. In fact, she may just have to sit back and wait for the marriage proposal that is bound to come her way.

As per Movie News Guide, "Baby Daddy" season 6 is rumored to be released in 2017 after a six-month hiatus.
