ASUS N Series news: two newly unveiled laptops come with 4K displays and Skylake processors
Asus has unveiled two new models joining its N Series notebooks – the N552 and the N752. The latest laptops from Asus are equipped with 4K displays and are powered by the latest Intel Skylake processors. They come with Windows 10 and are designed for entertainment.
The N552 laptop features a 15.6-inch IPS display while the N752 boasts a larger 17.3-inch IPS display. Both laptops have Ultra HD displays with a 3840 x 2160 pixel screen resolution and 282 ppi pixel density.
The 4K display of the new N series laptops provide sharp, vivid and immersive visuals. It has 100 percent sRGB color gamut and viewing angles of up to 178 degrees. The display is also equipped with ASUS Splendid technology for optimized viewing settings and ASUS Eye Care mode that reduces blue light by up to 33 percent.
The N Series laptops have an all-aluminum casing with Asus' signature spun metal design. It is sleek and sophisticated but also very practical to use. It comes with a sturdy backlit keyboard with an ergonomic 1.8 mm key travel.
The Asus N552 and the N752 have been given the latest sixth-generation Intel Core i7 processor. They can be equipped with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M graphics and up to 16 GB or DDR4 RAM. Customers also have the option for HDD or SSD storage options. According to Asus, the laptops can have up to 512 GB of SSD storage.
Asus' new laptops also come with the USB 3.1 Type-C port for ultra-fast transfer speeds. It boasts 20 percent faster transfer speeds compared to the traditional USB 2.0 port. It is also twice as fast as the USB 3.0 port.
For superb sound quality, the laptops feature the ASUS SonicMaster audio system. The front-facing speakers deliver rich and clear sounds for an immersive audio experience.
ASUS has not yet announced the release date and pricing for the N552 and the N752 laptops.
