(Facebook/Arrow)“Arrow” season 5 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.

A new vigilante appears in Star City in the upcoming episode 7, titled "Vigilante," of the fifth season of the American superhero drama "Arrow."

Two dead bodies of criminals are dropped at the Star City Police Department (SCPD). After the bodies were dropped, it dawns on Oliver (Stephen Amell) that a new vigilante has appeared in the city. Although the vigilante's actions could just be a form of help to keep the city protected, not everyone in the team agrees with the vigilante's methods.

Meanwhile, Diggle (David Ramsey) is disappointed with how he ended up with his new situation. Thea (Willa Holland), on the other hand, tries her best to stand by Lance's (Paul Blackthorne) side after he confesses a shocking secret.

The promo trailer for the upcoming "Arrow" season 5 episode "Vigilante" shows the team realizing that the new killings may be the work of a new vigilante. When Arrow faces the new vigilante, the latter criticizes the former that he is not getting the job done. However, Arrow reminds him that he is the only one the city has and he will fight to protect it the right way.

Meanwhile, executive producer and co-creator of "Arrow" Marc Guggenheim talked about the fifth season of the series on Entertainment Weekly.

Guggenheim said, "In season 5, we're probably telling more stories about the conflicting moralities of what Oliver's been doing over the life of the series. Everything we've been trying to do in season 5 has been building off of our history, our long history, because that's something that the other shows just can't do."

Stephen Amell also shared on the new villain in the series. The actor explained that the villain was created because of the things Oliver/Arrow has done. It gives the story another way to revisit things from the past.

"Arrow" season 5 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on The CW.
