Spoiler reports are suggesting that the character of Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) would be making a comeback in the next installment of the Spider Man franchise, even after her death that devastated Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield).

The culmination of 'Amazing Spider Man 2' left fans wondering what would happen to the heartbroken hero in the next Spidey movie following the untimely passing of his first love.

However, fans of Gwen Stacy-Peter Parker team-up were thrilled by rumors that an Empire State University Professor, who fell deeply in love with Stacy, will clone her.

Meanwhile, lead actor Andrew Garfield hinted in an interview that Miles Morales could be featured in Spider Man 3. Morales is the teenager who was also bitten by the spider that gave Peter Parker his superhuman abilities. In the comics, he replaced Parker when he was killed.

"Miles Morales was a huge moment in this character's comic book life. And I do believe that we can do that. It's something I'm really interested in figuring out; an eloquent way of coexisting, or passing on the torch," said Garfield in an interview with CBR.

"I don't have an answer, but I think it's actually a really important move. I think it's a really beautiful and important move," further revealed the actor.
