With tablets increasingly becoming hybrids, it is surprising that Samsung is still churning out 7-inch versions. Just after the company launched its flagship smartphones has come news that it has two 7-inch tablets in the works and these were seen in leaked renders.

Reporting on the leaked press renders of the 7-inch Galaxy Tab A (2016) and the Galaxy Tab E (2016) of the same size, 9to5Google states that it appears that the tablet in the E series is going to be cheaper. As for the renders of the tablets, they were released on the Twitter account belonging to notorious tipster Evan Blass. The press renders also hinted towards these two tablets coming in white and black, which have long been colors favored by Samsung.

As soon as the press renders appeared on the Internet, industry analysts pointed out that it is likely that the rumors and the images were true. This is because Samsung is keen to bring the design from its lineup of tablets that released last year to the upcoming tablets. However, the upcoming 7-inch tablets are going to be much smaller than what is currently in the market.

In the press renders, it was clear that much will not change when the 7 inch Galaxy Tab A and Galaxy Tab E arrive, and they could have similar design to last year's versions. First off, they will arrive with a physical home button in the front, however, the Galaxy Tab A seems to have thinner bezels compared to its sibling.

Industry analysts are checking the upcoming releases in the tablet market to see how companies will cope with demand, which is rapidly cooling. The major player in the market, Apple, is also rumored to be bringing out a 9.7-inch iPad Pro and not an iPad Air 3 in March, and it is likely that Samsung will also beef up its tablet offerings to take on this particular device.
