Xbox Games With Gold updates: Four new games added to list of free games offered for April

(Reuters/Carlos Barria)Xbox released its Games With Gold titles for April.

Four more titles will be added to the collection of free games that can be played by Xbox Live Gold members this coming April.

The games to be included are "Ryse: Son of Rome," Telltale's "The Walking Dead: Season 2," "Darksiders," and "Assassin's Creed: Revelations."

Users may avail of the games "Ryse: Son of Rome" and "The Walking Dead: Season 2" for their Xbox One.

"Ryse: Son of Rome" features a Roman soldier who is out to seek revenge for the death of his family. The third-person game will boast of excellent graphics and displays of combats. The game can be acquired starting April 1, and it will be available for free until the end of the month.

Meanwhile, "The Walking Dead: Season 2" will feature Clementine and her adventure in searching for ways to get out of the zombie-laden places and landscapes. She will be meeting many survivors, and she will face many challenges based on how the users will decide along the way. The game will be available for free from April 16 to May 15.

For Xbox 360 users, "Darksiders" and "Assassin's Creed: Revelations" are to be offered free of charge.

"Darksiders" will take the users to the underworld as one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The action-packed RPG will feature angels and demons which blame the user for prematurely triggering the end of the world. The plot will be one of the main attractions of the game, given that Joe Madureira, a Marvel Comics writer, is involved in the creation of the storyline.

Lastly, "Assassin's Creed: Revelations" will follow the adventure of the aging Ezio Auditore in his search for the secrets of the master assassin. The lead character will also have a chance to interact with the original protagonist of the series, Altair. The game, which was situated in 16th century Constantinople, will only be available from April 16 to April 30.

Users may also enjoy the March titles released for free for Gold subscription owners. The list this month includes titles such as "Heavy Weapon," "Evolve," and "Layers of Fear."

Live Gold members will also have exclusive first access to the games from Xbox Game Pass, which are to be unveiled sometime in spring.
