Now that HBO's "Westworld" season 1 has finally concluded with a bang, avid fans of the TV series are theorizing on what will happen next as the show has been renewed for another thrilling season. Actress Evan Rachel Wood, who plays the oldest active host in the theme park Dolores Abernathy, excitedly announced that she will definitely be part of season 2.

"I know a little about what's coming in Season 2," Wood told IndieWire in an interview. "I know how our ending for Season 1 will segue into Season 2 and... wow. That's all I can say. I think it was always that Season 1 was going to be this backstory and set up — getting to know the park and characters. I think Season 2 is really going to be warp speed. The show might really start in Season 2."

Meanwhile, actor Ed Harris — who plays the Man in Black — confirmed in a radio interview with BBC Radio 4 a few weeks back that he will be part of the highly anticipated season 2. "I was just talking to Jonah Nolan last night, who's a creator of this thing with his wife Lisa Joy, and yeah, they're doing another season," Harris said. "They're going to do 10 more episodes, and I will be involved."

While "Westworld" husband-and-wife co-creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy remain tight-lipped regarding season 2's juiciest developments, the internet is making it possible for fans to share their theories about certain aspects of the show. For one, viewers still have a lot of unanswered questions regarding the park, its characters known as hosts, and most of their origins.

In a previous interview, Nolan revealed that they will definitely reveal answers and unravel mysteries in season-long chapters, each carrying a unique theme for viewers to enjoy. In the same interview, Joy also said that most of the questions haunting viewers will be answered in the show's final episodes.

Furthermore, Nolan added that season 2 will reveal more of what hosts are made of to include their power source. It will explain their mechanical makeup and reveal interesting possibilities and what they are capable of as their brains do not need oxygen, in order to function. The hosts themselves will come to understand their makeup more clearly in the next season.

"Westworld" season 2 is expected to return in 2018 on HBO.
