Fans can expect not one, but two different demos of the eagerly anticipated "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" to be shown off at this year's E3.

Details about what the two demos will feature have not been shared just yet, though considering that there will be more than just one, fans can probably look forward to seeing more aspects of the new game being showcased at the upcoming event.

According to Finder.com.au, the two demos could showcase the different environments of the game, with one giving fans a look at the new, open world setting and the other focusing more on the dungeons and other enclosures that will be featured.

The web site also reports that Nintendo has informed media members to allot about 90 minutes for the upcoming demo, meaning there could be a lot of new gameplay to be showcased at the upcoming event.

Furthermore, a playable version of "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" is also expected to be made available at the event.

Apart from sharing new gameplay footage, it's unclear exactly what else will Nintendo reveal about the upcoming game.

Earlier this year, Nintendo announced that the new "Legend of Zelda" game will be launched simultaneously for both the Wii U and the new NX console in 2017, but an exact release date was not provided.

While the NX console is set to be launched in March of next year, it's unclear if the new "Zelda" game will be released at the same time as well.

Nintendo Enthusiast shared some screenshots of the game's official listing back in April that included differing release dates. The screenshots show that the listing previously included a March 2017 release date but that has since been changed to show a wider 2017 release window.

It's unclear why the alteration was made or even if it means anything, and hopefully, Nintendo will shed more light on the matter by the time E3 rolls around.

New official details about "The Legend of Zelda Wii U" should be made available as soon as E3 gets underway starting June 14.
