The latest news surrounding Super Smash Bros 4 has revealed the inclusion of the Dragoon from Kirby Air Ride. The Dragoon is an Assist Trophy which, when combined with all of the three pieces to complete the Air Ride machine, can help the gamer attack the enemy.

The upcoming entry in the Super Smash Bros video game series is set for a release date this summer for the Nintendo 3DS, with the Wii U version coming in the winter.

Game Director Masashiro Sakurai said the Dragoon is back, with some new add-ons and nice design touches for the targeting screen. Sakurai also talked about the 'Bullet Bill' item, which enables the user to take off to wherever he wants.

While many rumored character lists are floating around, only the following ones has been officially revealed on the game's website:

Newcomers: Greninja, Little Mac, Rosalina & Luma, Villager, Mega Man and Wii Fit Trainer.

Returning: Charizard, Yoshi, Sheik, Zero Suit Samus, Diddy Kong, Lucario, King Dedede, Zelda, Marth, Sonic, Toon Link, Peach, Luigi, Pikmin & Olimar, Mario, Donkey Kong, Link, Samus, Kirby, Fox, Pikachu, Bowser and Pit.

Another recent picture shows Little Mac from boxing classic Punch-Out!! in the boxing arena, serving Link from the Legend of Zelda his trademark one-two jab-punch. According to Sakurai in the Nintendo Miiverse, Little Mac's graph paper pixels for the wire frame are actually done by Shigeru Miyamoto, the Japanese video game artist behind many of the company's best-selling video games.

The Nintendo 3DS version is expected to stage two songs, with Zero Suit Samus returning as an individual playable character, while Sheik will receive the usual treatment. Rosalina will be able to use her "Gravitational Pull" to get items, and her Final Smash is equal to Power Star.

Meanwhile, the Wii U version will have a treasure chest with songs. Past stages from the series will also be present.
