Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom, aka K Zoom release date April 29 in Singapore

The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom or K Zoom is ready for launch. The Korean giant phone maker usually focuses on rolling out other devices when its flagship is out of the way. With Galaxy S5 already on the market, Samsung might be all set this time to launch its Active, Mini and Zoom variants. The Galaxy S5 Zoom smartphone will likely be the next smartphone to be released by Samsung.

Rumors have it that a camera phone will launch in Singapore on April 29. A post on Samsung Mobile's Twitter account on April 14  reads: "Samsung Media Day Kapture the Moment at Red Dot Design Museum, Singapore." The post shows a "K" with a camera lens within.

It has been a while since K Zoom rumors have been circulating about the next cameraphone, set to succeed the Galaxy S4 Zoom SM-C101.

The device is said to have passed FCC requirements, with the FCC confirming SM-C115 as its model number and revealing that it will support LTE and NFC connectivity.

The K Zoom is said to sport a Super AMOLED 4.8-inch 720 x 1280 pixel display and pack Exynos 5 Hexa chipset six-core CPU, 2GB RAM and 20.2 MP rear snapper 10x optical zoom camera with Xenon flash. Rumors say it will come with new features such as optical image stabilization.

A Galaxy K Zoom leaked photo reveal a much thinner and lighter smartphone device which seems to be far slimmer than the Galaxy S4 Zoom. This next big thing in camera and mobile hybrid is said to kill compact cameras.
