"Psycho-Pass" has largely become one of the most-anticipated anime shows that hit the small screens, and with the second season wrapped up and done with, fans are demanding for announcements regarding the release of a third season.

However, it seems there's still no development as it remains unclear whether production is working on season 3 or not. The frustration has only become intense after series producer Akitoshi Mori said last year that he is planning to come up with another installment.

When Mori gave his comments on a possible third season, fans were excited and actively talking about the series. However, as the months passed and no news from Mori or production came, the interest seemed to die down.

On the other hand, a lot of fans are still hoping that Mori will stick with his words and deliver the third season he teased last year. While there is still no confirmation if a third season is actually in the works, it is expected that Mori will release an official statement in the next months.

It should be noted that the manga series is still rolling out, so fans who are losing hope for the next installment should hang on to the possibility that Tatsunoko Productions may be keeping mum about the release date to avoid any leaks.

"Psycho-Pass" is a series that tackles the psychological issues of man. Starring the main character named Akane Tsunemori, the series goes deep into the minds of normal people who are capable of committing crimes. The most interesting aspect of the series is how it drives viewers crazy upon seeing a normal citizen captured or made to pay the price for merely thinking of committing a crime in the future.

With Enforcers, Inspectors, and the Dominator leading the scared community, Tsunemori is slowly opening her mind to the atrocities that the futuristic weapon is executing on her people.

Fans will have to wait for further announcements about the release of "Psycho-Pass" season 3.
