Pokemon fans have waited years for the company and Nintendo to come out with the next iteration of the popular game. So it was not surprising that news that "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" are on their way was met with excitement and great fanfare. Unfortunately, the excitement waned a bit with the disappointing trailer the company released.

News that a new trailer was set to be released was announced on the Serebii site. However, the touted clip turned out to be not really new at all, as fans just saw the same footage that was shown on the last Pokemon Direct video.

To be fair, the said video wasn't a total disappointment as it hinted at new pokemons, something that Pokemon director Junichi Masuda alluded to as well. However, Masuda didn't elaborate on his statement and some fans were left wondering if he was serious or just playing around.

And with such vague answers and few concrete information, it was inevitable that various rumors would start to crop up. Among the things being speculated on is the possibility that there will be 10 or more new Pokémons in "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon." It was even suggested that the two upcoming games will be set in a tropical region, hence a new generation of monsters suited to the climate would be introduced.

Fans are also wondering where Zygarde and Pokemon Z would fit in. As the Neurogadget site pointed out, it's strange that the developers spent so much time building up this Legendary pokemon without a big payoff. Will Zygarde be a big part of "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" instead?

There are also rumors that the two new Pokemon games being developed will be released in full 3D on the 3DS. It appears that a lot of gamers are hoping that the game would benefit from the Nintendo NX's dual-type system.

These are all speculations at this point, but the Japanese magazine CoroCoro is reportedly coming out with news about "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" on its Apr. 15 issue, so fans would do well to grab a copy.
