The month of February will end in a couple of days, but Sony has yet to reveal the titles of the free games that will be released for PlayStation Plus subscribers for March 2017.

The announcement is expected to be unveiled in the coming week, but speculations about the next lineup of free games have been going around online.

Several reports claim that the roster for the March 2017 free games for PlayStation Plus will include several AAA titles, as well as some indie games.

According to reports, Image & Form's side-scroller game "SteamWorld Heist" will be one of the titles that will emerge in next month's free games list. The third installment of the fan-favorite "SteamWorld" series was first released on PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in June 2016, and received favorable responses ever since.

Housemarque's isometric twin-stick shooter game "Alienation" is also rumored to be included on the free games list for March 2017. It was originally released on PlayStation 4 in April 2016.

Other reports also mention that Abstraction Games and Dennaton Games' joint project "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number" could be included on the list of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The adventure video game from Giant Squid Studios called "Abzû" is also expected to be released for free for those who are under the PlayStation Plus program.

While Sony has yet to confirm which of the mentioned games are included on the March 2017 free games list for PlayStation Plus, players can still enjoy the free games that were released in February. It includes the "LittleBigPlanet 3" and "Not a Hero" for PlayStation 4, the "Starwhal" that comes for free for PlayStation 3 players with Cross Buy on PlayStation 4, "Anna: Extended Edition" for PlayStation 3, as well as the "Ninja Senki DX" and the "TorqueL" games for PS Vita that are under the Cross Buy program with PlayStation 4.
