'Outlander' season 2 spoilers: Jamie and Claire throw lavish dinner party to expose Bonnie Prince Charles in episode 4 'La Dame Blanche'

(Starz)Jamie and Claire throw a lavish dinner party.

Jamie and Claire advance their plot to sabotage Bonnie Prince Charles by throwing a lavish dinner party in an all-new episode of "Outlander" airing this Saturday.

While Jamie and Claire have had a relatively easy time assimilating to life in Paris, they will soon discover that they are not welcomed by everyone. In the first few moments of the upcoming episode, "La Dame Blanche," Claire gets poisoned and realizes that they are not completely safe. She questions Master Raymond, but ultimately suspects Le Comte St. Germain to be the culprit.

Despite fearing the safety of her child, Claire will have to continue helping her husband Jamie with his plan to infiltrate the Jacobite Rebellion.

After discovering that Bonnie Prince Charles is having relationship troubles, Jamie and Claire decide to use Charles' broken heart to weaken his credibility. The pair decide to throw an elaborate dinner party to expose Charles and prevent investors from giving him more money to fund the rebellion. Unfortunately, things don't go according to plan.

Could the dinner party be ruined by the appearance of the Duke of Sandringham and his secretary Alex Randall?

Claire has yet to tell Jamie that Black Jack Randall is still alive for fear that it will affect his healing process. However, the appearance of the Duke may threaten to expose this secret.

In last week's episode, it was discovered that the Duke has been funding both sides of the rebellion. It seems that as the story progresses, the Duke continues to be a very important and influential character in the life of Jamie and Claire.

"We start to see that he's more of a power player and a bigger character in their whole fate, in Jamie and Claire's whole life, and he certainly will, later on in the series, become very pivotal to the whole thing. He's certainly a figure that should not be trusted," Sam Heughan told The Hollywood Reporter.

Also in the episode, Claire worries about Frank Randall's future existence when Mary, the person who is supposed to marry Black Jack, entertains a new love interest. Claire also now begins to realize that she can't let Jamie kill Black Jack before he has a child because it will affect the future of her first husband.

"There's a lot that hinges on the fact that Mary Hawkins and Black Jack will marry," Caitriona Balfe revealed.

To see how everything unfolds, be sure to check out "La Dame Blanche" airing on Apr. 30.

Season 2 of "Outlander" airs every Saturday at 9 p.m. ET on Starz.
