This year, Electronic Arts is bringing "NBA 2K17" to fans who have been waiting for new sets of matches with new NBA stars. And recently, it has been confirmed that Aaron Gordon and Zach LaVine will crash into the court.

The two dunkers made it big in the 2016 NBA Slam Dunk contest and gained the favor of many sports experts and fans. Social media manager for the NBA 2K community Ronnie Singh has been posting several pieces of footage and images of both Gordon and LaVine to boost the interest of those who haven't heard of the two.

Forbes has also confirmed the news and many other outlets picked up on the story. LaVine is a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves who was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NBA draft. Gordon, on the other hand, was drafted in the fourth round of the same year by the Orlando Magic.

As reported last month by VG 24/7 News, Kobe Bryant will grace the cover of this year's game's Legend Edition, in honor of his career, legacy, and recent retirement from the National Basketball Association.

According to Movie News Guide, "NBA 2K17's" Legend Edition will not only feature Bryant on the cover but the game will be packed with digital bonuses, custom Panini playing cards, and a Black Mamba game controller skin.

To further honor the veteran and legendary player, players will be given a Bryant poster, MyTeam Bundle that stars a Kobe Bryant card, a hoodie, jersey, and finally, a pair of Nike 11 shoes - the pair that Bryant was honored with for his retirement.

While Bryant will be the star of the Legend Edition, which is only available for current gen consoles, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, it has yet to be revealed what the regular edition's cover will be like. The announcement is said to come next month, when players come together for the "NBA 2K16 Road to Finals."

There is no exact release date announced yet for "NBA 2K17" but experts suggest that it will roll out on September 27, 2016.
