Many are anticipating the release of the next installment of Microsoft Surface Pro's product line. There is a lot of excitement regarding the unveiling of the new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 as it is expected to bring a lot of new features.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to have a 2K resolution display. In addition, the device is said to have a 4K Ultra HD variant. It could also include a 12.3-inch Pixel Sense display, much like what was presented in previous models of the device.

Aside from the display, the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 could have 16 GB of RAM, which is an improvement from the past installments of the product line. In addition, the hybrid tablet-laptop is also said to operate on Windows 10, including the Redstone 2 update. It could also utilize an AMD or Nvidia Pascal graphics processing unit (GPU).

Another improvement is the upgraded Surface Pen as it is said to include a rechargable battery. Reports indicated that Microsoft will have wireless charging for the pen, as well as a magnetized feature that will attach it to the device. This was hinted in past reports showing a patent that was released by Microsoft.

While the initial release date for the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 was June 2016, many speculate that its delay is due to Microsoft's plans to incoporate Intel's new processor called Kaby Lake. Since the processor has yet to be released by Intel, there is a lot of wonder regarding when the device will be released.

It was rumored that the new Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will not released until Spring 2017. Though there has yet to be any official source confirming it, experts believe that Microsoft will announce more details about the product later this year.

Nevertheless, the new phone is still expected to present a high price. it was said that the top-end variant could be up to $1599 USD.
