Micromax Canvas Mega Series news: micromax launches Canvas Mega and Canvas Mega 4G for India

Micromax has launched two new devices – the Canvas Mega (E353) and the Canvas Mega 4G (Q417) for the Indian market. The Micromax Canvas Mega Series are bold and innovative devices that seek to meet the needs of its consumers. With the popularity video streaming nowadays, Micromax has released large screen smartphones to provide consumers with a better viewing experience.

The Micromax Canvas Mega features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 screen resolution. The display comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 panel for added protection.

It is powered by an octa-core 1.4 GHz MediaTek MT6592M processor with 1 GB of RAM. There is also 8 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD slot. The device also comes with a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. For selfies, there is a 5 MP front-facing camera.

The smartphone comes with dual-SIM capability and 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and micro-USB connectivity. It comes with the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS out of the box.

The Canvas Mega is backed by a 2,820 mAh battery which provides up to 10 hours of talk time or 600 hours of standby time. The device is available in Black.

The Micromax Canvas Mega 4G also features a 5.5-inch HD IPS display with a 720 x 1280 screen resolution. It is powered by a quad-core 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6735 processor and 3 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of internal storage but can be expanded up to 32 GB via a microSD slot.

Like the Canvas Mega, it has a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP front-facing camera. It also runs the Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.

The device has dual-SIM capability and 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB and GPS connectivity. The Canvas Mega 4G has more power thanks to a 2,500 mAh battery.

The Micromax Canvas Mega is priced at Rs. 7,999 ($120) and the Canvas Mega 4G is priced at Rs. 10,999 ($164). Both smartphones will be available in the Indian market.
