The latest version of Apple's MacBook Pro which is expected to come out late this year just might come with Intel's seventh-generation chipset given that the powerful processors are now available. With Intel's latest processor out, analyst Ming–Chi Kuo's previous theory that the upgraded laptop may feature 32 GB of RAM is not as farfetched as some people thought in the past.

Macworld, however, reported that the 32-GB RAM improvement in the new MacBook Pro might not be released anytime this year as mass production of the upgraded laptop will take place in the fourth quarter of 2017. If Apple pushes through with this schedule, it is highly likely that the improved MacBook Pro will arrive next year.

It is possible that Apple will adjust the price of the costly MacBook Pro in the coming years. The company is known to gradually lower the prices of its devices the year after they are first released. When the MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar came out in October 2016, it was priced at $1,749 for the 13-inch model. The 15-inch variant, on the other hand, sold at $2,399. The most expensive MacBook Pro available in the market now is being sold at $2,799.

Meanwhile, a Forbes report speculated that Apple might make improvements on the upcoming version of the MacBook Pro where it concerns memory, processor, battery life, and storage. These improvements, however, may not necessarily be reason enough for consumers to buy a MacBook Pro when it arrives.

In other news, a tie-up between Apple and Microsoft has enabled significant updates to Microsoft Office documents that include programs such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint, according to Express U.K. When using Microsoft Word with the Touch Bar, users may make their work a lot easier by using Word Focus Mode, a feature that allows one to look at documents more closely.

Moreover, the ribbons and commands previously located on top of the Windows document are now found in the Touch Bar, making it a lot easier for the user to access it with a single tap. The update also allows the user to insert comments, photos and hyperlinks by simply using the Touch Bar.
