Another huge game convention event, Gamescom, is coming up a few days from now. One of the games that is rumored to be unveiled at the event is Rockstar's much-awaited "Grand Theft Auto 6" or "GTA 6."

There have been rumors that Rockstar Games is planning on releasing a huge game soon. It could be either "GTA 6" or another installment for its other hit game franchise "Red Dead Redemption 2."

According to reports, Rockstar may be announcing the release of "GTA 6" at the upcoming Gamescom, although it has not been confirmed yet. However, it is also possible that the game developer is not looking to do a great unveiling of the title in a large event and opt to announce it separately.

However, some reports say that "GTA 6" may come out anytime within 2018 and 2020. The reason behind it may be to go along with the launch of the upcoming consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two. There are rumors suggesting that the sixth installment of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise is already in its early stages of development. But Rockstar may be taking its time in order to beef up more content and focus its marketing on "GTA 5."

As for the gameplay of "GTA 6," gamers can expect a distinct difference from the previous title and it is said to bring in a more realistic feel in the driving. If fans' wishes will be considered, then there even might be a good number of supercars introduced in the upcoming title.

"GTA" is known for its characters and the central characters are male. The sixth installment may change some of its roster and may add a female central character, which could be voiced by Eva Mendes.

One of the most-awaited details that fans want to learn about the upcoming installment is the location of the game. There were rumors that it could be set in Tokyo. However, the streets of Japan's capital are complicated and may take so much time for the developers so the setting may remain inside the United States.
