Disney already confirmed that a sequel to the animated hit "Frozen" is in the works. However, until now, there have been no updates regarding its status. And with the recent release of "Moana," rumors have started to swirl that Disney may opt to produce "Moana 2" instead of "Frozen 2."

"Moana" has been getting a lot of positive reactions from both critics and the general public. And with its success, a new rumor has emerged concerning Disney's priorities. It has been said that Disney may choose to make a sequel to "Moana" first instead of "Frozen." However, since the studio has yet to speak out on the matter, the idea remains up in the air.

But what will "Frozen 2" have in store for fans?

There have been a lot of speculations about the storyline of the upcoming sequel. First of all, a lot of fans are concerned about Elsa's love life and have even gone so far as to petition that she be given a girlfriend. A strong pro-LGBT message will certainly be something new for a Disney princess, and the movement has sparked a frenzy online.

But if Elsa doesn't end up with a girlfriend, there is some talk of her possibly meeting a King who will become her new love interest.

Speaking of romance, it seems that Olaf will also be getting his fair share of the butterflies. Reports claim that the happy snowman will find love in the upcoming sequel.

Idina Menzel is set to reprise her role as Queen Elsa, while Kristen Bell will return as her sister, Anna. Bell previously revealed in September that they had not yet started doing voice work for the movie.

In other cast news, Alan Tudyk, who voiced the Duke of Weselton in "Frozen," revealed to Fandango that he will once again lend his voice to the Disney sequel. However, he is unsure of which character he will be bringing life to.
