Fans of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" are still eagerly awaiting the release of its DLC 3—or any information related to it, at the very least. Unfortunately, no official launch date has been announced, but numerous reports seem to be in agreement that the content will land sometime in June. Some of these reports have gone as far as to pinpoint an exact date, June 21.

The DLC 3 will reportedly include three new maps but will contain four locations in total. And each DLC wouldn't be complete without Zombies. As with previous downloadable content, this upcoming one is said to feature a new treat involving Zombies. According to reports, this new map with Zombies will still feature the same characters from the previous two DLCs, but there is a high possibility that it will come with a new setting.

As for the June "Black Ops 3" update 1.11, it is expected to arrive before the DLC. However, chances are bleak that any of these will make it to the market before the commencement of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this month.

The update will reportedly come with new contracts and specialists, but as Gotta Be Mobile states, fans should not have high expectations that every bug and issue will be fixed when the update lands.

In other news, "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" is scheduled to be released sometime in the fall, which means the "Black Ops 3" DLC 3 will definitely come prior to that. It is widely believed that Sony will present a sneak peek or at least share details about the upcoming "Infinite Warfare" installment, given that Activision will not have a physical booth at the E3.

In the meantime, gamers will have to stick to what's there and relish the current map packs that have already been made available to them. And since nothing about the release date of the DLC has officially been confirmed, fans should take this news with a grain of salt for now.
